To be honest, I haven’t had much time to find new authors myself. It’s erotica, though, which isn’t so much what I read really. My reading varies depending on my mood, so right now I am readingįiona: Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest? She writes werewolves and things like that and probably what I was reading at the time I got my idea for my stories. Would be great if he was my mentor, though. I have every book he has ever written, so he is probably my biggest influence. They stem from real events, but mostly its fantasy.įiona: What books have most influenced your life most? a mentor? The boy’s circumstances in the book stem from my own, not that I am a werewolf or anything, but the car crash and then the being taken in by someone. I write fantasy.įiona: Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life? It’d be a pretty scary or maybe cool world if the stuff was real. I mean it’s werewolves, vampires and a whole load of other creatures. I don’t think I could say any is realistic haha. Grab it now.įiona: How much of the book is realistic? No time to place happiness in the future. I think if anything, life is way too short, but it’s the longest thing any of us do.

This one, Cade, I literally named it after my character.įiona: Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp? My voice and style is a mixture of who is influencing me that day.įiona: How did you come up with the title? I guess there will always be the undertone of my voice in it as I speak, but it depends what I am reading at the time. It is always developing and always growing. And it occurred to me, what happens to the soul when a vampire is turned? And that was it, I decided to explore that question and my Series of books was born.įiona: Do you have a specific writing style? I was out at work having a smoke break and I was reading. Probably the same time I considered myself aliveįiona: What inspired you to write your first book?Ī smoke break haha. I was five the first time I was published 🙂įiona: When did you first consider yourself a writer?įorever I think. I didn’t have a great childhood so reading and writing were my escape. I could visit places with snow queens and talking lions (Narnia was a favourite). I discovered that I could make all these places up and I could do what I wanted in them.

I have so much to write that I really need more hours in the day, or a way to wire something to my head to write as I do other things.įiona: When and why did you begin writing? I also have a son who has moved up and married now.
